True to its annual appointment, Lenovo presented its new laptop battery for 2020 a few weeks ago. Among them was a compact model with the latest Intel processors at a reasonable price. We are talking about the Lenovo ThinkPad L13, a powerful laptop with up-to-date connectivity and a sober design to use in the office or university. A laptop that can surely come in handy for these days of work and studies at home. So let’s look at the five key features of the new Lenovo ThinkPad L13.
LIGHT AND ROBUST DESIGN
The new Lenovo ThinkPad L13 has been designed so that we can take it with us anywhere. The notebook is 1.7 centimeters thick and weighs only 1.38 kg.
On the other hand, Lenovo has reduced the bezel around the screen for a much cleaner and more uncluttered look. Also, the ThinkPad L13 arrives in two color options:Â silver and black.
Despite being a thin and light notebook, the Lenovo ThinkPad L13 is a robust piece of equipment. It has been tested to 12 military-grade specifications and has undergone over 200 quality tests to ensure it performs in extreme conditions.
So it is a laptop designed to withstand our day-to-day, including possible spills or falls.
POWERFUL TECHNICAL PACKAGE AND FHD SCREEN
Under the stylish design of the new Lenovo ThinkPad L13, we find powerful hardware with the latest Intel processors. Specifically, the equipment is sold in three configurations, one with Intel Core i3-10110U, another with Intel Core i5-10210U, and the most powerful with Intel Core i7-10510U.
Accompanying the new Intel processors, we have up to 16 GB of 2666 MHz DDR4 RAM and 512 GB of NVMe SSD storage.
On the other hand, all models have integrated graphics and a 46 Wh battery that offers a range of up to 14 hours. In addition, it is charged through a USB Type C connector with a 65W fast charging charger.
All models of the Lenovo ThinkPad L13 (at least all those already on sale) feature a 13.3-inch IPS-panel display. This screen offers a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, with a maximum brightness of 250 nits.
UPDATED CONNECTIVITY
The Lenovo ThinkPad L13 comes equipped with the latest in connectivity. In addition to the commented USB-C charger, it has WiFi 6 certification for a super-fast wireless connection.
It also has Bluetooth 5.0, two USB 3.1 ports, two USB-C ports, a microSD card reader, an HDMI 1.4 port, and a network extension for Ethernet. So, as you can see, it has a fairly complete connectivity section despite its slim design.
SURE
The ThinkPad range has been designed to, above all, focus on professional use. That is why it includes some systems that ensure our data security and privacy.
The ThinkPad L13 comes with a comprehensive suite of ThinkShield security features. It is equipped with the standalone Trusted Platform Module (dTPM), which encrypts data and works with the security features of Windows 10.
On the other hand, the ThinkShutter system blocks the lenses of IR and HD cameras. And the fingerprint reader lets you use biometrics to sign in to Windows faster and more securely.
