4 Tips To Improve The Image Quality Of Your LG TV

4 Tips To Improve The Image Quality Of Your LG TV

It is no secret to anyone that LG televisions, for many years, have been among the best that can be found on the market. However, today we will explain four tips to improve the image quality of your LG television in 2022. So if you don’t want to settle and want to take your experience to another level, these tips will help you achieve it.

In case you didn’t know, LG Electronics has been one of the largest consumer electronics companies in the world for several years. This is responsible for developing technological advances in electronics, mobile communications, and household appliances and employing more than 84,000 people today. And as for their products, they have always stood out for their quality, but there are ways to improve it without spending a single euro.

HOW TO IMPROVE THE IMAGE QUALITY OF YOUR LG TV

HOW TO IMPROVE THE IMAGE QUALITY OF YOUR LG TV

Look at these four tips to improve the image quality of your LG TV, and you will notice the difference immediately. Were you looking for a way to enjoy your favorite movies, series, or concerts even more? Then you have come to the right place.

OVERSCAN LG TV

One way to improve your LG TV’s picture quality is by switching to Cinema, Movie, Calibrated, or Filmmaker mode. Doing this reduces some of the more striking aspects of the image. At first, it will seem that the TV is somewhat reddish. However, this means you see more detail, and the image is more realistic.

There is also the backlight that adjusts the overall light output of your LG TV. This represents the brightness setting, usually separated from the control as Brightness. If you adjust this setting based on the lighting of the place where you are and your personal preferences, everything will be better.

Remember that brighter rooms and daylight viewing require a higher setting, while a low setting is better for home theater or dark locations. Do you have an LG LCD TV? A bright backlight can dim the image and reduce contrast and intensity. The brighter the TV, the more power it will consume. On the other hand, it should be noted that higher Brightness makes OLED TVs more susceptible to image retention and burn-in. However, this is unlikely with normal viewing habits, even with maximum Brightness.

If your TV is looking in a way you don’t like, the best thing you can do to improve the Picture is to change the settings. Go to the Display menu of your LG, apply a couple of settings, and that’s it. It is the best thing you can do to see your movies and series perfect and clear. Do you want to try it? Well, you can do it in two ways that give the same results (with the remote control or your smartphone).

Press the SMART button on the remote, go into Settings, and tap Picture, then Picture Mode. There you will see many different options to configure. Look at the official LG website to discover which is best for you.

If you have lost the remote and do not have the app, you can manually adjust the settings on your LG TV. This is done through the control panel on the bottom or side of the television. Go to the Menu and Settings to manually adjust what you want to improve the image. Of course, remember that many LG Smart TVs do not have a control panel like old-school TVs, so a lot depends on your home model.

Do you have an Amazon Firestick or a Roku, and the image still looks bad? Then the problem may not be with your LG TV but the device. Most streaming devices adjust to your TV’s resolution when you connect them. Unfortunately, sometimes these don’t work as well as they theoretically should.

APPLY MOTION SETTINGS

Many don’t know that LG TVs have motion smoothing, called TruMotion, which is turned on by default. Unfortunately, it is sometimes inconvenient to have it activated because it greatly softens the movement. When you turn it off, movie stars will look more realistic than ever on your LG TV.

How do you disable or adjust this setting? Press the Home button on the LG TV remote, select Picture Mode Settings, then Options, and find TruMotion. Here you will be able to adjust these settings as you see fit, which will give your movies a cinematic look.

Tap Custom to adjust the Blur and De-Judder controls to suit your needs. There is also a mode called OLED Motion Pro that inserts black frames to remove blur. All up to you!

CHOOSE THE BEST IMAGE PRESET

CHOOSE THE BEST IMAGE PRESET

It’s no secret that LG TVs have a standard default picture setting that is great, but you can tweak it to improve the Picture. You can set many presets from the Home button on your TV remote. Just select Picture Mode Settings.

You’ll find advanced options for manipulating backlighting, contrast, Brightness, sharpness, color, tint, and color temperature here. Simply tweaking the Standard setting will make the TV brighter backlight and improve the Picture. Just be careful not to overdo it to avoid losing the deep black OLED panels offer.

There is also a setting called APS that serves as an automatic power saver. However, this limits the Brightness and potential of image appreciation on TV. As a result, the content on the TV will look too dull. Even if you save a small amount of money on your bill, the image will not be top quality.

If you don’t have one of these TVs, look at this LG 4K OLED Evo Gallery TV. You’ll love it!
