As we have been able to verify through the ING Direct website, the number belongs to the bank’s contact lines . In principle, the line in question is intended to provide service to the bank’s clients through the appointment option, although some users claim to have received offers of different banking services and products, such as pension plans or investments in monetary funds. In any case, the authorship of the call corresponds to ING , since we did not find an attempt at identity theft.

If we have been promoted or advertised through 912 066 666, we can always use the Robinson List. This is an initiative created by the Spanish digital economy association whose main and only objective is to limit the carrying out of advertising campaigns by companies and entities to users who have registered on the group’s website, to the which we can access through the address Listarobinson.es. Within a maximum period of 90 days or three months, the exemption process will be applied to all those users who have registered their contact information on the platform.
Client method to block calls from this and other numbers is based on using the native Android and iPhone options, which we can access from the Calls application. From the call history we will only have to press and hold the number we want to block until a menu appears with different options. The other option is based on using specialized applications, such as Mr. Number for iOS or Truecaller for Android .
The great advantage of this type of solutions is based on the automated blocking system that they integrate and that allows calls to be blocked based on the reports that other users have previously made , while we do not have to proceed manually. If we have a landline, the procedure is similar, since a good part of the phones sold today have buttons and functions that allow us to limit the reception of calls. Otherwise, we can resort to external blockers, a solution in the form of a device that connects to the phone through a network cable and that allows us to add as many numbers as we want.
